Our build cost calculator is a free tool that provides self-builders with indicative figures for their build projects quickly and easily.

Labour and material prices are updated using an enterprise software platform that updates rates and prices daily.

Within the build cost calculator, we include the cost of all construction materials and labour. You choose your superstructure, be it timber frame, ICF or any other type of construction, the floor areas and square meter size. We ask you to enter a budget for certain sections of your build project within the build cost calculator, such as kitchens and bathrooms.

You then get a total build cost output along with the breakdown for each section of your build project from the build cost calculator.

Prices quoted by the build cost calculator do not include VAT.

In the build cost calculator, we do not include the cost of any finance, insurance, professional fees, or utility connections.

All Mayflower clients get a detailed build cost and quantified schedule of works completed at no additional charge. Before then, feel free to use our build cost calculator above to get indicative project budgets. When your client is ready for detailed costs, we can provide them based on planning permission drawings only. All self-build mortgage lenders will require these detailed build costs at the time of application.
